Your option for tranquil vacations is the 4-star Camping Bissen, which is located on the banks of the winding Sûre River. With its woodland and meadows, the heart of Upper Sûre Nature Park guarantees pure nature. There are many things to do and places to see in the Luxembourg Ardennes, which are close to the large lake of Esch-sur-Sûre.

The campsite is fully furnished with everything you could possibly need for your vacation, including an activity program, a cafe, and a grocery store for your convenience.

At Camping Bissen along the Sûre bank, you may select from a variety of camping pitches and rental alternatives.

Come and stay in one of the traditional camping accommodations or an eco-friendly glamping cabin. Chalets, lodges, wooden lodges, apartments, trailers, and pods can all be rented at Camping Bissen. With the exception of pods, every rental has a private bathroom, a kitchen, and a bedroom. The distance between the restrooms and the pods is only 50 metres. In addition to regular toilets and showers, they also have washbasins, private shower stalls, and sanitary facilities for infants and young children. There are also washing machines and tumble dryers available for a cost.

The pitches are situated directly alongside the Sûre's bank. The river is suitable for swimming and fishing, and splashing around in the water is safe for kids. There is 10 AMP electricity on every pitch. Water, electricity, a drainage system, and WiFi are all provided on motorhome grounds. They are ideally situated next to the pizzeria and bus station.

At Camping Bissen, take part in a range of activities that involve both land and sea. For fishing in the river next to the campsite and the 12 km surrounding area, guests can rent gear and purchase a licence. Particularly well suited for fly-fishing. Swimming is possible in a river, a reservoir, an outdoor pool, or a covered pool 20 km from the campsite. Another water activity is organised canoe trips. Additionally, the only whitewater training facility in Luxembourg is located near Diekirch.

You can rent road and mountain bikes to explore the Luxembourg Ardennes' natural beauty. Or, if you'd rather, hike one of the 700 km worth of trails. Maps for hiking are provided at the reception desk. Other suggested activities include rock climbing, horseback riding, bowling 5 km away from the campsite, on-site kid-friendly entertainment throughout the season, an indoor games area, and an outdoor playground.

Try the Finnish sauna, aromatic bio sauna, infrared cabin, or the two-person whirlpool in the wellness area.

The reception is in the same structure as the bistro/bar and adjacent terrace. Fries, meatballs, and schnitzel are just a few of the delectable foods that may be eaten both indoors and outside. The pizzeria is housed in a hotel restaurant across from the campsite.

De Reiskocher (6 km) offers Indonesian food, and Flux (5.7 km) serves up traditional American food including big burgers and fries.

The distance from the campsite to Upper Sûre is 5 kilometres. There are many things to do there. Additionally to hiking and cycling in the vicinity, this location offers diving, swimming, canoeing, fishing, and swimming. Three kilometres separate you from the small, quaint village of Esch-sur-Sûre. It's a castle town surrounded by mountains and a river, which is typical of the Ardennes. With its stunning castle, Vianden (35 km) attracts a lot of tourists. You can use the Grand Dutchery's sole chairlift to reach the breathtaking valley vistas. The best place for hiking is Mullerthal, which is 30 km away and is known as Luxembourg's Switzerland because of its spectacular rock formations and waterfalls. The city of Luxembourg, which is 50 kilometres away from the campsite, has many tourist attractions, but the streets are also great for strolling and soaking up the ambience.
